Academic Evaluation & Diagnosis offers a comprehensive approach to evaluate individuals who have specific learning disabilities, dyslexia, AD/HD or are gifted and talented. After the diagnostic evaluation, a prescriptive instructional plan is created and progress can be monitored.
These psycho educational comprehensive evaluations measure cognitive and academic achievement for students of all ages from preschool through adult. While the specific diagnosis is important, emphasis is placed on helping parents, teachers, and service providers understand the specific needs of the student. Comprehensive instructional plans are developed with an emphasis on evidence-based practices. Progress monitoring is offered as a way to make decisions using current data. In addition, ongoing support and consultation are provided as well as cooperative collaboration between parent, school, and specialist to achieve academic success. Academic Evaluation & Diagnosis was established in 2001 in response to a community need for services that evaluate and support the educational needs of individuals. We are dedicated to providing comprehensive evaluative services and appropriate medical, psychological, and educational referrals and recommendations to children, adolescents, and adults who are at risk for dyslexia, AD/HD and other learning disabilities. We specialize in creating relationships and developing a team approach to support the student. |
